Disney Cruise Line Wedding-
Andre and Melissa
Have a seat for this one, I couldn’t help myself and it’s long.. Like get committed to this long(I might grab a snack or something).
I can’t say enough amazing things about Andre and Melissa and their families. An amazing week aboard the Disney Fantasy!
Andre and Melissa have know each other since they were kids. Both from my home state of California, (seriously, cool people come from there) they were avid Disney fans!
When Melissa contacted me about shooting her wedding aboard the Disney Fantasy I’m pretty I had a little heart attack! I too am a huge disney fan! Engaged at Disney, my kids had their first birthdays at Disneyland and my youngest took her first steps at the Disneyland Hotel. It’s pretty much in our DNA, but we had not cruised yet!
A lot of brides feel that it is expensive to bring your own photographer, but since I love weddings, I love cruising, I love Disney it’s actually a lot more affordable than one might think and can be a better option than the onboard photography gamble.
( so that translates to… let me give you a quote shameless plug).
So after months and months of talking on the phone, planning, talking, emailing… It’s wedding time!
(lots of pictures… don’t use your data plan.. find the Wi-Fi)
Meet Andre and Melissa
Aren’t they cute?
The bonus about bringing your own photographer on board is.. PORT SESSIONS! I mean we’ve all been there. On vaca, beautiful place.. and selfies? I mean, selfies are great… BUT… having someone to take an hour long session
in a beautiful location for forever memories… and including your whole body.. Priceless.
Welcome to St. Marteen!
Still here? Awesome!
after the mini port session Andre and Melissa went and rented 4-wheelers with their families and I went back to the ship to hang out with mine! ( I learned later on that the happy couple ALMOST didnt make it back on the ship.. oops)
One thing I can say about melissa is she is a planner. Like I got an amazing folder with everyone’s names in it, everyones room number, itinerary and some things that Melissa wanted that were important to her. No we had talked many times, but this information was super awesome and helpful especially to jog your memory or to help when you needed to know what room groomsman number 3 was in!
Pirate night shots! Finding a place on the top deck can be challenging on a full shipbut, Come on? I got this!
ITS WEDDING TIME!!!!
(the moment you’ve been waiting for)
Alright hold on… Not only is Melissa a Bride… apparently she is the queen of DIY!
Soaps and tea and honey!
Lanyards! Tissues! Hand sanitizer!
The bag is full of personalized magnets… and there was one for everyone in my family!
Personalized cup! (uhh mine had a cute camera on it.. and I still use it… everyday!)
(yes, that was a shameless plug too… but she deserves it)
Ok, ok.. wedding!
